Mr. Clayton is a Florida native, born in Orlando, and has been in education since 2003, where he began as a high school special education teacher at his Alma Mater.  He also coached three sports: football, basketball, and track.  He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing from the AACSB accredited John and Mary Jo Boler School of Business at John Carroll University where he was also a two sport All-Conference athlete.  After a short career in arena football, Mr. Clayton transitioned into education earning his Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Barry University.  Prior to joining the honorable ranks of being an educator, Mr. Clayton was the Vice-President of Marketing for the Rentrabar Group, Inc. which produced the award winning radio show known as “The Brick.”  Dominick is a prominent Change Management Speaker, and one of the more sought out Entrepreneur Speakers.

 

During his time serving as a leader in education at the school-based administrative level, Mr. Clayton has successfully created an award winning 9^th grade transition academy, presented at the Model Schools Conference, and won the 2010 Outstanding Assistant Principal of the Year award for his school district.  Known as an “agent for positive change,” Mr. Clayton was chosen to serve on the administrative team for low performing high school in need of a “turnaround!”
